Monday 25th May 2020.

Hello everyone.

As the country continues to navigate a way through the Covid-19 outbreak, the Embassy Theatre will remain closed until the end of July 2020. We are constantly reviewing our position and will issue more information when appropriate.

We are pleased to advise that all of the shows due to appear in July have been re-scheduled. The new dates are shown below and the online listings have been updated:

Shrek The Musical | Thursday 8th to Saturday 10th July 2021
Lipstick on your Collar | Saturday 17th July 2021
The Illegal Eagles | Friday 6th November 2020
The Drifters | Friday 23rd July 2021
A Vision of Elvis | Saturday 24th July 2021
Jim Davidson | Friday 12th March 2021
The Roy Orbison Story | Saturday 31st July 2021

All of your tickets will remain valid for these new dates – just bring them with you on the night and our team will welcome you here. Any tickets left for collection will also be accepted.

This industry will recover however it is going to take a considerable period of time. Theatres are likely to be amongst the last venues that are allowed to re-open. We are working very hard to ensure that when the time is right, the theatre can emerge from this and continue to offer live entertainment – an experience that cannot be matched. We would like to thank all of those people who have donated the cost of their ticket or sent us a separate donation to safeguard our future – thank you.

We ask for your compassion and understanding at this very difficult time. Please consider investing your ticket, should you not be able to attend any revised dates, in a theatre gift voucher or using any funds to choose an alternative show from our calendar by accepting theatre account credit. Please bear with us – we will contact everyone at the earliest available opportunity. Thank you.

We continue to be humbled by the support we have received. Thank you for your comments. We hope you will continue to support us – your venue needs you! We will be back and #keepentertainmentlive…
