Since the innagural hanging in May 2012 The Embassy Theatre Art Gallery has seen 30 exhibitions displaying works from over 80 professional artists.
Five years later our Art Gallery Curator and Artist in residence Malcolm Tait is hanging up his hammer, nails and spirit level to take timeout to concentrate on his own artistic pursuits and growing family!

In recognition of the work and vision that Malcolm has helped to achieve the Gallery space is now fondly referenced as The Embassy Tait Gallery Space.

The Gallery Curator role is to source, schedule and promote accessible art by coordinating 4 changes of exhibition annually within the Embassy Theatre Foyer in conjunction with the year round venue programme and in discussion with The Theatre Programmer.
The position is suited to a self motivated, freelancing, sociable, well networked local art professional with excellent presentation skills and DIY capabilities.

The ideal candidate will ensure excellent and efficient communication between all parties and will be renumerated expenses of up to £100 for each successfully presented, complete and launched exhibition.
